A Rin Bell is a traditional Japanese meditation bell that is used during meditation and chanting. These spun brass bells each have an excellent tone and are crafted from durable materials. We offer three sizes , each with their own distinct sound profile. The small one has a lasting tone, the medium size has a middle tone, and the large bell’s tone is deep and resonant.
Unlike hanging bells, a Rin Bell rests on a cushion and is struck gently on the outer rim.
Our Rin Bells are made in Japan and include a rosewood striker and beautiful patterned cushion. We have experimented with different strikers and find that wood or metal sounds best on a brass bell. You may choose to purchase this bell with or without handsome red lacquer bell stand.

It’s good product, I only have a couple complaints. The sound is great for the most part, and it’s quite loud. However, the striker had one or two cracks. The cushion is kind of lumpy and had a hole in it. So it doesn’t sit flat on it, it kind of slants. But other than those things, the product is pretty good. 😊
