Description
Crafted by our monk friend Teido Bill Stephens from Black Walnut wood these Zen clappers rest easily in the hand, and are heavy enough to produce a strong, clear clap!Together with the inkin bell the clappers are used to signal rest and walking periods during meditation. At a Zen monastery they are used in various ways, including to begin and end silent meals and to call everybody to the meditation hall.

Beautifully made and will be durable. Pleasant sound. I thought they were expensive but I feel they were worth the price and the profits go toward a good cause.

Nice sound, and a careful finish. Good price, although becomes doubled when sent to Spain. Gassho.
