Description
Crafted by our monk friend Teido Bill Stephens from Black Walnut wood these clappers rest easily in the hand, and are heavy enough to produce a strong, clear clap!Together with the inkin bell the clappers are used to signal rest and walking periods during meditation. At a Zen monastery they are used in various ways, including to begin and end silent meals and to call everybody to the meditation hall.
