Our Mini Zafu is portable, and pretty cute, if you ask us. It’s ideal for practitioners who meditate outdoors, travel to classes or retreats, or want a small cushion that stores easily at home. Lightweight and fitted with a carrying handle, this cushion slips into a backpack or tote and is easy to grab on the way out the door. Its rectangular shape makes it simple to pack and stack.
Sit on it flat, or if you need a little extra height, on its side. This zafu gives you about 4 inches of loft when flat, and 5 when on its side. It is stuffed with chemical-free, non-GMO buckwheat hulls. Our hulls come from Minnesota, and are a mix of certified organic and transitioning to organic. It is available in five colors and in either Standard (non-removable cover) or Deluxe (removable, washable cover).
All our Mini Zafus have a durable, comfortable 100% cotton shell. Our Deluxe version has an inner lining made of 100% cotton muslin. Offered in Black, Slate Blue, Gray Ikat, Bali Blue, and Coral Seafoam.
If you’d like, you may add an extra Removable Cover of the same or a different color.

This has become my everyday cushion…it is comfortably minimal!
Perfect, well made portable cushion.
I love my Mini Zafu, actually my second! And while I have use it for sitting practice in the past — and it works well for that, especially for travel — this one is dedicated as my bed pillow. As a stomach sleeper I have found this size perfect — why are pillows so big anyway? — and I like the firmness and height of it. This time round, however, I put a pillow case over it: my first had gotten worse for wear from no-longer used hair products, sweat and such yellowing the fabric and the insides were getting rather dusty. I highly recommend the Mini Zafu for whichever purpose you need it for.
