Our Meditation Support Cushion is a versatile, low-profile cushion designed to fine-tune posture and comfort during seated meditation.
Measuring approximately 14 × 14 inches, it provides adjustable support for practitioners who need extra height, targeted lift, or positional stability. One or two cushions can be used to raise the hips, support uneven knees or ankles, or soften contact points when sitting for longer periods. It is well suited for meditators who already use a zafu, zabuton, or bench and want a modular way to adapt their setup.
The support cushion may be placed directly under the zafu in order to give one more height, but commonly it is placed under and a little behind the zafu in order to roll the pelvis forward, and strengthen the lower back.
Still Sitting offers Meditation Support Cushions in a variety of colors, and a choice between Standard (non-removable cover) or Deluxe (removable cover).
Our Deluxe Support Cushion has an inner lining made of 100% cotton muslin. Each Deluxe Support Cushion cover is machine washable with the exception of the patterned fabrics which we recommend hand-washing or dry cleaning.
If you’d like, you may add an extra Removable Cover of the same or a different color.
