Our new Kyoto Collection Meditation Cushion Set includes one Zafu and one Zabuton — the essentials to start your practice. This special seat features three new delightful Japanese fabrics. All meditation cushions in our Kyoto Collection are deluxe, which comes with removable covers and inner muslin covered cushions. Choose from three special 100% cotton fabrics: Zen Waves, Japanese Maple, and Midnight Surf.
We double stick all our zafus for extra strength and make them from durable 100% cotton duck shell. All zafus come with a carrying handle.
Our buckwheat zafu is loosely packed so it will mold to your form. We stuff our kapok zafu tight to make it soft yet firm to sit on.
The zabuton acts as the base for your meditation. It defines your meditation space and cushions your knees. We at Still Sitting like the traditional square zabuton because we find that many people need the front-to-back room that a square zabuton provides.

The fabric is much softer than I thought it would be. Very comfortable on the skin and I have nerve damage. The zabuton is beautifully plush without being too soft. The zafu with buckwheat is ideal for sitting long periods with good posture. This has made my sessions of longer meditation 45-90 minutes or possible to do sitting. Before I would have to lie down due to cervical damage. Fantastic set. The fabric is a dark dark navy and soft cream. Really stunning set. My cat also loves it. Very very happy with the purchase.

Beautiful design – I love the way it looks. It’s comfortable, a little firmer than I expected but I’m happy to be on it for over an hour at a time.

Beautiful and well made. Easy to remove some of the buckwheat stuffing to adjust height of the cushion. Happy to pay more for quality products that will last.
