Description
We really like the details on these pants. They have elastic in the back of the waist, and a draw string in the front – so they expand and contract well. They have deep comfortable side pockets. They button and have a front zipper. At the ankle, they close with a Velcro tab – we think this looks and feels nicer than elastic.
These pants match our Lightweight Samue Jacket, and and also go perfectly with any of our other handsome Samue Jackets.
We tailor these pants from comfortable 6.5 oz cotton twill. Our Samue Pants are pre-shrunk and machine washable. And like all of our clothing, they’re made right here in Seattle.

These are wonderful. I had previously used martial arts gi pants for zazen for many years. No pockets, drawstring, no zipper. Very inconvenient. These samue pants are very well made, have nice pockets and a quality zipper. I appreciate the elasticized waist and easily manageable drawstring to adjust tightness after buttoning the top button. They are very comfortable to sit in. I would definitely buy again.
First sitting pants I’ve ever owned that has a zippered fly!
I love my samue pants! The only precautionary note I would make is that, for me, they do not reliably secure items like keys and phones in their pockets, when sitting!
