The zafu is the most basic and necessary of meditation tools. It allows the meditator to sit up straight and relaxed. To sit up straight, sit on the front half of your zafu. Your zafu will help tilt your pelvis forward, allowing your torso to sit up straight, strong and relaxed.
Our zafu is made from beautiful burgundy fabric.
Our button zafu is made from a durable cotton shell that we stuff with buckwheat hulls. The buckwheat fill molds to your form, yet gives you firm support. The zafu have a zippered closure to allow you to adjust the buckwheat fill and comes with a handy carrying handle.
All zafus are made to order on Vashon Island in Washington State.
They seem smaller than older button zafu. Also they no longer have a layered fill. These ones are a really good size for kids. Also, I swapped the Buckwheat for Kapuk and it’s a favorite
