STILL SITTING MEDITATION BENCHES

We believe this is a meditation bench you will be happy to own.  Each Still Sitting Bench is made from local reclaimed hardwood, saved from the chipper by woodworkers in Seattle, who craft each bench into a work of beauty.  Logs and timbers are bought from people who will otherwise destroy the wood, and milled in Seattle or right here on Vashon Island.  While the specifications of each bench are exactly the same, the look of each is unique. 

Our meditation bench is made from Spalted Alder, a hardwood that is native to the Northwest US, where we are located.  Because of the variety of grains in our reclaimed Spalted Alder, no two meditation benches are exactly alike, each has its unique look. 

Our benches have three coats of hand-rubbed finish.  The finish is water based and environmentally friendly.
