Description
This Classic Jizo Statue is a compact cast iron representation of the beloved bodhisattva known for protecting children and travelers. At four inches tall, it is designed for small altars, shelves, or quiet corners of the home. Its modest scale and weight give it a grounded presence, making it suitable for those who want a meaningful figure without dedicating large space.
Jizo (Kṣitigarbha in Sanskrit) holds a central place in Japanese Buddhist practice. He is widely recognized as a guardian of children, particularly those who have passed away, and as a guide for souls in difficult states of existence. His vow to delay his own Buddhahood until all suffering beings are liberated is a defining aspect of his role.

I love this Jizo stature. It is small but heavy and has a perfect shape. I bought this for someone else but now think I want to order another for me. Jizo is such a welcoming and caring Bodhisattva and I like to have this energy near me.
Potent little Jizo, perfect in weight and stature, a blessing!
