Description
This long 108 bead Buddhist mala has lovely deep green and brown tones in the grain. Many of the beads are ingrained with an image of Kuan Yin Bodhisattva or the kanji symbol for Buddha.
Verawood is a fragrant wood that means tree of life and is often used to help induce a meditative state. The color can vary and will turn darker green when exposed to more natural light or more nutty brown when kept out of the light.
This long strand of prayer beads can be worn wrapped several times around the wrist, worn around the neck or used in any way for meditation.

Order was shipped and arrived in a faster than expected timeline. The mala smells amazing. It reminds me of being in the woods and praying at temples and shrines in Japan when I lived there. Excellent quality for the price. My only suggestion is to offer it on elastic string. I prefer to wear mala wrapped around my wrist, but this one is on non-elastic string, so it slides off because it won’t fit with the number of loops due to my wrist size.
