Product Details:
Matcha Matcha is green tea that has been crushed into a powder. This means you actually drink the leaves, and thus matcha contains higher concentrations of healthy vitamins and catechins. Matcha is the tea used in the Japanese tea ceremony.
Brewing Instructions: Use about a teaspoon of matcha per 4oz. (1/2 cup) of water.

After you have boiled your water you will need to cool it a little. A good temperature for matcha is 175-190 degrees Fahrenheit (80-90 degrees Centigrade). To cool your water either 1) wait, or 2) add cold water. If you decide to wait, remove the lid of your kettle and let the water cool for five minutes. If you decide to add cold water, add a dash (a tablespoon or so) per cup of boiling water. For a quart of boiling water, add a quarter to a half cup of cold water.

Scoop out two heaped scoops with your matcha scoop (approx 1 tsp), and drop it into your matcha bowl.
Pour 4 -6 oz. of water over the matcha, and whisk it immediately (and vigoroursly!) with a bamboo whisk.
You should get a frothy, bright green cup of tea.
